Yingwen has a Masters degree in Archaeology with distinction from the University of Cambridge, and in 2018 she completed her studies with the award of a PhD in Chinese Archaeology. Through her studies she discovered her passion for Chinese material art and won the Antiquity Prize as an outstanding researcher. Before joining Dreweatts in 2015, she started her auction career in the Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art Department at Christie’s London as an intern. Her previous experience includes working as a cataloguer at the Fitzwilliam Museum and the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology at Cambridge.
