Hugo has recently joined Dreweatts after 20 years in Hong Kong within the fine wine market, having previously been a senior wine specialist at Bonhams in Hong Kong; prior to that he had 16 years of fine wine exposure working for a handful of global fine wine merchants, Berry Bros. & Rudd, Corney & Barrow and Justerini & Brooks, again all in Asia. Hugo has been at the forefront of sourcing some of the most highly coveted private collections during his time in Asia and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the ever-developing fine wine market.

Some of my most memorable bottles that he has been lucky enough to drink would be 1988 Chambertin, Armand Rousseau, 2009 Domaine Liger-Belair, Les Suchots and a 1916 Clos Fourtet, St. Emilion; his standalone desert island wine would possibly be the 1982 Chateau Pichon-Lalande.
