Silas has 35 years’ experience working in the world of auctions and antiques publishing. After graduating from Cambridge with an MA in Art History, he has worked across the country for Phillips, Bonhams and various independent auction houses.

As a senior valuer with Dreweatts, he runs the Sculpture and Works of Art department cataloguing and researching for the works of art in the four auctions of curated Fine Furniture & Works of Art auctions Dreweatts holds every year. In addition, he works together with the House Sales and Private Collections alongside other specialist departments.
