Digital Marketing Internship, Newbury (3 months)

Internship: Digital Marketing
Location: Newbury, Berkshire

We are looking for an intern wanting to gain online marketing experience to join our Newbury office. This is a paid internship that will take place over three months, starting in April 2025.

During the internship, the successful applicant will experience and participate in the day-to-day running of an auction house with a focus on digital marketing, including:

1. Planning and execution of social media posts
2. Compiling images and information for marketing campaigns
3. Preparing email marketing campaigns (using pre-existing templates)
4. Company website updates including imagery and articles
5. Supporting the rest of the marketing team with other initiatives

Interns will also be asked to undertake a variety of administrative tasks including covering phones, assisting on sale days, and ad hoc duties as required.

Video Content Creator and Strategy Developer, Newbury & London

Location: Newbury with occasional work in London and working from home options

We are looking for an imaginative and driven Video Content Creator and Strategy Developer to produce engaging video content that showcases our auction highlights, collection sales, behind-the-scenes stories, and expert insights. In this role, you will develop and execute a cohesive video strategy that enhances our digital presence, attracts new audiences, and drives engagement across platforms.
This is a unique opportunity to combine creativity with strategy in the world of fine art and antiques.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Content Creation

• Conceptualise, film, and edit high-quality videos, including auction previews, expert interviews, client stories including researching and meeting with clients, and live events.
• Develop visually compelling narratives that highlight the history, craftsmanship, and value of featured items.
• Create content optimised for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Strategy Development

• Develop and implement a data-driven video content strategy aligned with marketing goals and brand identity.
• Identify opportunities to grow our online presence and engagement through video.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to innovate and stay ahead in the market.

Digital Marketing Collaboration

• Work closely with the marketing team to integrate video content into campaigns, email newsletters, and website updates.
• Partner with social media managers to schedule and promote video content.
• Analyse video performance metrics to refine strategies and ensure ROI.

Brand Storytelling

• Craft compelling narratives that reinforce Dreweatts' and Forum Auction’s leadership in the auction world.
• Showcase the unique value of our collections while making the art and auction process approachable for diverse audiences.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video production, from concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
• Experience in developing content strategies for social media and digital platforms.
• Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
• Familiarity with analytics tools to measure video performance and audience engagement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to liaise with both staff and clients.
• Interest in art, antiques, and luxury markets is a plus.
