Joe Robinson joined the House Sales and Private Collections department at Dreweatts in 2018. He graduated in 2016 from the University of Nottingham with a degree in History.
Previously Joe worked in the Chairman’s Office at Christie’s and at Dreweatts he works with Will Richards to ensure the smooth progress of our clients’ collections through the auction process, from storage and valuations to catalogue production, pre-sale exhibition and post-sale settlement.
Joe has worked on the following single owner collections: Aynhoe Park: The Celebration of A Modern Grand Tour (January 2021), The Collection of Sir William Whitfield CBE (March 2020), Oakley House (May 2019), Selected Contents of Kingstone Lisle Park, Oxfordshire (October 2018) and In Search of the Aesthetic: Two International Private Collections (October 2018).
Joe has a personal focus on country houses and their collections, with a guiding interest in English furniture and decorative objects. He is delighted to assist clients in the sourcing of items from Dreweatts auctions for all sizes of furnishing and interior decorating projects.
