Mitchell Tompkins graduated in 2017 with a first-class degree in Environmental Science from the University of the West of England and has worked in the auction industry since. Having previously worked across various roles at TW Gaze in Norfolk, and in the Modern Design, Pictures and Furniture Departments at Leonard Joel, Australia, Mitchell joined Dreweatts in 2020 as Fine Furniture Administrator. 

He assists in the curation of five auctions of Fine Furniture, Sculpture, Carpets, Ceramics and Works of Art a year, most recently auctions at Kirtlington Park, Oxfordshire (May 2022), and Barnwell Manor, Peterborough (September 2022). Mitchell’s additional responsibilities at Dreweatts include managing and overseeing the consignment, delivery, and storage of furniture for processing and cataloguing for future sales.
