On Monday 11 September, the V&A will be hosting their event Robert Kime: The Collector's Eye. Join designer Nina Campbell and antiques dealer Will Fisher in conversation with Hatta Byng, Editor of House & Garden, as they discuss the legacy and influence of the revered decorator and antiques dealer, the late Robert Kime.
Robert Kime had an extraordinary eye for beauty and talent for creating atmospheric, lived-in rooms which sparkled with interest in a seemingly effortless way. He died last year, leaving behind a remarkable, wide-ranging and deeply personal collection. As it comes up for sale in the Dreweatts auction Robert Kime: The Personal Collection on Wednesday 4, Thursday 5 & Friday 6 October, this panel will discuss what it was that made his interiors so special, and give insight into what he collected and how he assembled his inimitable collection.
